Introducing AZoAI: The A to Z of Artificial Intelligence
The A to Z of Materials - azom.com - was launched in the year 2001 by Dr. Ian Birkby, a PhD in Materials Science to provide open access educational and commercial information for other Materials Scientists.
Since then AZoNetwork has expanded to 12+ plus websites and 140+ sector specific newsletters covering scientific and technology areas from medical and life sciences to nanotechnology and cleantech. All of the sites follow the same mission, to share scientific and technical information with the people who can make a difference.
Today, we continue on that mission and launch our newest site, AZoAI.com, the A to Z of Artificial Intelligence.
Why an Artificial Intelligence site?
I’m sure you’ll agree that AI news has been everywhere since the launch of ChatGPT earlier in the year. New content, products, ideas, and opportunities are emerging all of the time - The applications of AI appear to be limitless.
But as with the other subjects that we cover on our sites, we recognized that there was a requirement across industries to provide an information resource that educates people on the use, opportunities, and shortfalls of AI in various fields.
We actually bought the domain name about 12 years ago but believe now is the right time to launch the site and enhance people’s understanding of AI.
What are the key features of the AZoAI?
AZoAI is the open-access platform for the latest artificial intelligence content.
AZoAI's mission is to share newsworthy, credible artificial intelligence content on an easy-access platform.
The site publishes all of the latest, trusted AI news including:
- Expert editorial articles
- Interviews with thought-leaders in prestigious fields
- Equipment profiles from some of the leading companies worldwide
AI is touching so many areas of our lives. We can't think of an industry that isn't impacted or going to be impacted by the use of AI, whether that be in manufacturing and robotics, helping healthcare professionals diagnose their patients more effectively, or enhancing today’s virtual assistants.
AI will be a huge part of all our futures and AZoAI will be here to provide you with all the latest thinking on the subject.
What next?
We are incredibly excited by the opportunities AI will provide as we’ve never seen a pace of change like we're experiencing at this moment in time.
As our CEO, Ian said in a recent interview: “I think it's an extremely intelligent person or a fool that's going to predict where this is going to go.”
What we do know is that as with the other areas that we serve, we will aim to share the best, most relevant content with the people who can make a difference.
