As the dark nights draw in, nations weigh their economies versus public health, and 2020 wearily stumbles through the Autumnal darkness… we are pleased to announce some light at the end of the tunnel - 8 new starters at AZoNetwork’s Manchester Headquarters!
It’s no secret that marketing has been shifting toward an increasingly digital foundation and in March this year when the world was thrown into global lockdown, everything stopped whilst governments, hospitals and businesses figured out the extent of the situation and tried to navigate the uncertainty.
The Digital Shift
Then, surprisingly (or unsurprisingly even) we found that this Digital Shift was accelerated somewhat – Now everybody wants digital marketing; content, video, email, webinars, podcasts… despite everything, there is now more demand than ever!
And so, in October, 6 months after the pandemic first hit Europe, with all the necessary protocols in place, a brave few city dwellers returned back to the office in Manchester city centre.
We are also pleased to announce that we have expanded headcount by 24% over the last month, hiring 8 energetic new recruits. Whilst we appreciate that there is uncertainty in many industries, we are expanding to cope with increasing demand for our digital marketing services.
Time to meet the new team:
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer
Andy Coveney
Andy brings with him 25 years of industry experience having worked in energy, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, automotive and corporate finance sectors, and also remains as the main board director of the AIM quoted Rurelec plc. I am excited to join such an enthusiastic team with great products, fantastic people, a rapidly growing industry and a customer base which includes several Fortune 500 companies. My appointment is one of eight within the business this month, having hired extensively across marketing, editorial content and SEO; now is the time when we can we really press the accelerator to take it to the next level.
