What ESG Means to Us at AZoNetwork

At AZoNetwork, we see company culture as the invisible force that holds everything together, much like the sub-atomic particles in physics. Everything runs smoothly when our culture is strong and aligned with our values. But when it’s not, things can quickly unravel. We nurture open communication and a communal purpose at AZoNetwork, and it’s deeply connected to our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

Environmental Stewardship

We’re dedicated to minimizing our environmental impact through several initiatives. For example, over 80% of our team uses public transport to commute, and we operate a hybrid work model to cut down on commuting emissions. We also partner with environmentally conscious companies, use cloud-based IT solutions to reduce energy waste, and minimize our physical waste through recycling and reduced printing.

Social Responsibility

We strive to make a positive impact on our employees, clients, and the wider community. This includes offering comprehensive health benefits, flexible work arrangements, and promoting equal opportunities to create an inclusive workplace. We show our commitment to work-life balance with initiatives like “Fun in the Sun Fridays,” “Last Thursday of the Month” meals, and our annual “AZoGlobal” gathering, where our team comes together to strengthen bonds and celebrate our successes.

The team came together recently to support Francis House Children’s hospice at the Great Manchester Run, raising over £10,000 in the process.

We’re also proud members of the “Give as You Earn” scheme, with our employees donating over £11,000 since 2022. Additionally, our support for freelance workers, especially during tough times like the COVID-19 pandemic, highlights our dedication to fair and ethical practices.

Ethical Governance

We hold ourselves to high standards of corporate governance and transparency. We openly share our financial and non-financial performance with employees, prioritize data privacy, and adhere to ethical marketing practices.

Our commitment to governance also includes a strong focus on cybersecurity, ethical advertising, and prompt payment practices. By aligning our operations with ethical standards, we aim to create long-term value for all our stakeholders.

Living Our Values Every Day

In summary, our ESG policy is not just a box-ticking exercise; it’s about living our values every day. From reducing our environmental footprint to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace, and upholding the highest standards of governance, we’re committed to making a positive impact on the world around us.
